  • Gents

    (i)All Competition details contained in Membership Book and online Diary

    (ii)Competition entry sheets posted each Thursday at 7.30pm, the week prior to the weekend of competition.

    (iii)Members can only enter their own name on a Thursday evening. From Friday onwards members can enter other names. Team events – only own team can be inserted.

    (iv)If no spaces – Reserve sheet in operation – only the Match Secretary shall transfer names onto the main draw sheet.

    (v)Weekly draw for competitions made each Thursday at 9am for the weekend of that week

    (vi)Draw posted in locker room

    (vii)Late entries can be obtained through Professional on Friday for Saturday competition and Friday/Saturday for Sunday competition if spaces are available (2 ball to 3 ball only)

    (viii)Penalty Point system in operation if members fail to turn up for competitions – details in Procedures File.

    (ix)Major Match Play Competitions, singles and doubles entry sheets posted in locker room on 1st March – closing date normally 1st Monday in April – draw made thereafter.

    (x)Challenge Sheet available for Match Play Competitions – This should only be used as a last Resort – Matches should be mutually arranged.

    (xi)Kinross Open – Entry forms for members and visitors are in locker room and should be completed and placed in the envelope provided along with the entry fee and posted in the card slot situated at the computer station. Entries are processed in strict date order.

    (xii)Away Scores to be entered in Away Score Register situated in locker room – At Earliest Possible Date

    (xiii)Format Details of all Competitions on notice board in locker room

    (xiv)Local Rules on scorecards and notice in locker room.

    (xv)Winter League in operation each Sunday, weather permitting, during winter months – draw at stated starting times.

    (xvi)To obtain handicap – 2 rounds with a handicap bearing member from medal tees, then 3rd round in a medal competition (all on the same course)


    To free a lapsed handicap 3 cards returned and signed by a handicap bearing player.

    (xvii)A Midweek Medal is held weekly (April – September). No competition entry sheet operates. Arrange your own game or contact the Pro Shop if you don't have anyone to play with.

    (xviii)If using Kinross Golf Club as a home club a handicap certificate must be produced.
    If you have another home club and are intending to play in competitions, a handicap certificate must be produced.


  • Ladies

    (i)All Competition details contained in Membership Book and online Diary

    (ii)Competition entry sheets posted on notice board in locker room a week prior to the next weeks competition

    (iii)Weekly draw made on Thursdays before medal competitions and draw sheets posted in Ladies locker room.

    (iv)Late entrants to arrive at least ½ hour before play commences.

    (v)Major Competitions entry sheets posted in locker room at start of season – closing date normally end of May – draws made thereafter.

    (vi)Ladies Open entry sheet posted in locker room for member entry only.

    (vii)Format details of all competitions on notice board in locker room.

    (viii)Local rules on scorecards and notice in locker room.

    (ix)All away scores must be entered in the file situated in the locker room.



  • Seniors


    (i)Held each Wednesday, tee-off time 8.00am during summer months.

    (ii)Held each Wednesday commencing at 08.30am during winter months.

    (iii)One competition per month during summer classified as medal round on measured course for handicap purposes.
